Our mothers are our most important educators. Since we are born, they live for us. They teach us what is wrong, what is true. They took us to sleep, had dinner, dressed, had a bath... When we grow a little more, they took us to school. They helped us while we were studying. When we are sick, they didn't left alone. The only people that can love us unrequited is our mother. I think i'm lucky because i have an awesome mother. She is both my mother and my friend. For the child to grow up without a mother's love can have a big defict.

Love in other languages is an impressive movie. The topic of film is that the love between a deaf mute boy and a normal girl. Everybody in movie think that the love is impossible. Is it so hard? I think it can be hard in today. Because, although, %78,29 of the 8 milion disabled individuals living in Turkey want to work , they connot find a place for themselves in business because of bias and improper working conditions. Therefore, disabled people are addicted to people in their environment. They connot live a normal person so they cannot set up a normal relatinships.

what can be done?

First of all, we must be conscious as an individual. We must not exclude people with disabilities. We must build relationship with them to join the society.

The government must provide suitable employement opportunities for disabled people to live on their own and the government must make arrangments for transportations of disabled people alone.

For all of these, people should be more educated. Is it so hard?

Negative influence

On april 23, it is normal to see the children at some tv programmes like quiz show, main news bulletin, entertainment show but i saw that a child was anchoring at a smackdown programme. it'is NOT normal! Because, children learn by modelling. They cannot distinguish good and bad behaviors. Mothers and fathers should save their children from violance so they should be particular about TV. programmes which their children watch. Children should not perceive to fight and kill as ordinary something. Children are negatively affected by television. Especially, agressive behaviors can be observed at the children who watch violent programmes. Experts recommend that families should limit the time of watching TV. for children and they should referral their children to make activities such as painting, reading instead of watching. Additionally, not only tv affect children negatively but also parents and neighbours are important for modelling so we make our influence positive!

Preschool Education

I spent my holidays at my aunt's kindergarten. There are 12 children with different characteristics. Many families send their children to kindergarten because, they want to improve their children sharing abilities. Yes, kindergarten is important to sharing because children in kindergarten have common toys and books so they share all books and toys with their friends. They learn waiting to play some toys which are only one in kindergarten. Additionally, children get used to regular sleeping and eating habits. Even if not all children sleep at sleeping time and eat at eating time. They sport one times per week.

I read some articles about activities in kindergarten and i learnt these:

"Cutting,pasting and painting improve children's fine motor skills.

Running, jumping, climbing improve children's gross motor skills.
Matching the objects, classification, measurement, observing and producing an idea improve children's math and science skills."

MUHABBET KRALI

Watching TV. is not exhaustive like reading or studying. There are many useful programme for training people but most of us find these programmes boring. We prefer watching soap opera or entertainment show. For example, i cannot watch documentary programme so many hours. it is bored me that listening something with same tone of voice so i like the "Muhabbet Kralı". It is an talkshow. The host of this programme is Okan BAYULGEN. He host this programme with Sevil ATASOY. Up to this time, in this programme, the following topics were mentioned hypnosis, aids, gamble, cheating, drug addiction, stem cell, lonelines, schizophrenia etc... In this programme there are celebrities apart from the guests who are relevant with topics so people have information without having to bother.

READING

I can't understand why some people don't like reading?
I don't want to believe this!
I guess they don't know what kind of books they like.

Yes, eveybody know that reading is important but i want to make a list why reading important to me.

Reading

1. Feed your brain
2. Increase your overall culture information
3. Change your outlook
4. Increase your vocobulary
5. Expand your horizons
6. Increase our level of civilization
   

Reading is the easiest and most effective way of learning for people. Developed countries obtained %60 of their own information with reading.The source of the most of the problems of the underdeveloped societies is lack of education so we should win the habits of reading to children. How do?

For example;

1. We should read and we should have a lot of book at home.
2. We should not wait to buy book children learn to read. Children should have a library and be able to show it their friends.
3. Children' s first book should be colorful and atractive not old.
4. We should learn to children that there are a lot of information at booksand you can learn a lot of things with reading.

Why Smart Kids Cannot Learn ?

There is a positive relationship between intelligence and learning. But the factor that makes learning difficult to smart children is that parents and teachers always praise the intelligence of children.

Smart Kid X

Ege is 9 years old and too intelligence. He likes the jobs which makes the best and he always want to make these jobs. But, asking guestions in a field that is foreign to him or giving a new tasks to him make Ege reluctant. When he is a little difficult, he needs to say that i have a degree in painting lesson.

The War of Seem Intelligence
Ege is seem intelligence by his family so if he fails, he thinks that he is seem stupid by others. For this reason, he avoids difficult tasks. The reason of mentioning the degree of painting lesson is that he don't want to be seem stupid.

Image is Everything
Children who is vaunted because of their intelligence is generally less disciplined. They try to give the image of being succesfull without working. Keeping the image of intelligence is more important than learning. They are forced to ask questions.

The Difficult of Learnin New Tasks
Learning new something requires asking guestions, making trial and error. But, the smart kids avoid from new tasks.They do not take risk so they cannot develop methods to cope with failure.

What Are The Alternatives?
I think, the alternative is that families and teachers should underline the works and efforts of children, not the inteligence of children. Children should enjoy learning. A child who learnt the learning become more succesfull.
